Factory

YG UniLUX is a growing lighting company built on practical experience, skilled people, and a shared commitment to quality. Our 6,000-square-metre factory brings together more than 36 skilled team members working across different departments, each contributing their knowledge and care to every product we create.

While we continue to grow, we remain humble in our approach; learning, improving, and working closely as one team. For us, a factory is not defined only by its size or machinery, but by the people behind it and the responsibility they bring to their work every day.

Manufacturing Department

At YG UniLUX, quality is not something we inspect only after a product is finished. It is a responsibility carried through every stage—from understanding the order to delivering the final product. Our departments work together through a carefully managed process so that every important detail is reviewed, verified, and handled with care.

  1. Understanding the Requirement

Every order begins with understanding what the customer and the project truly require. We confirm the product model, quantity, wattage, voltage, colour temperature, CRI, beam angle, dimming method, finish, IP rating, certification requirements, packaging, and delivery schedule. Clear specifications at the beginning help prevent mistakes later.

  2. Technical Review

Our technical and production teams review whether every requirement can be manufactured safely, consistently, and efficiently. The LED or COB, driver, optics, housing, heat dissipation, wiring, and installation method are considered as one complete lighting system—not as separate components.

  3. Sample Development and Approval

For new or customised products, a sample may be prepared before mass production. It allows us to examine the appearance, dimensions, light performance, component compatibility, thermal behaviour, and ease of installation. Production moves forward only after the important details have been confirmed.

  4. Production Planning

Once the product is approved, the order is translated into a clear production plan. Materials, quantities, technical documents, assembly instructions, quality checkpoints, and completion schedules are prepared so that each department understands its responsibility.

  5. Material Preparation and Inspection

The quality of a finished luminaire begins with the quality of its components. LEDs, drivers, optics, aluminium housings, heat sinks, wires, connectors, and other materials are checked against the approved specifications before entering production. Any material that does not meet the required standard is identified before it can affect the finished product.

  6. Component Preparation

Before assembly, each component is prepared and checked for the next stage. Dimensions, surface finishes, mounting points, electrical connections, and the compatibility between the LED, driver, optics, and housing are verified carefully.

  7. Product Assembly

Our skilled production team assembles each product according to the approved structure and technical requirements. Attention is given to wiring, electrical connections, heat transfer, optical positioning, sealing, fastening, and overall workmanship. Careful assembly helps ensure both reliable performance and a clean final appearance.

  8. Quality Control During Production

Quality checks take place throughout manufacturing, not only at the end. Our team monitors important details such as dimensions, component placement, wiring, current settings, fitting, surface finish, and product appearance. Finding an issue early allows it to be corrected before moving to the next stage.

  9. Performance and Safety Testing

Completed products are tested according to their specifications and intended application. Depending on the product, this may include electrical safety, power, light output, colour temperature, CRI, dimming performance, temperature, ageing, and protection testing. These checks help confirm that the product performs as it was designed to perform.

  10. Final Inspection

Before packing, the finished products go through a final inspection. Appearance, operation, accessories, labels, quantities, and order specifications are reviewed once more. Only products that meet the confirmed requirements are approved for delivery.

  11. Packaging and Shipment

Each product is packed to protect it during storage and transportation. Product labels, accessories, quantities, carton markings, and shipping documents are checked carefully before dispatch. We also coordinate the delivery process to help ensure the order reaches the customer safely and on schedule.

  12. Follow-Up and Continuous Improvement

Our responsibility does not end when the order leaves the factory. We listen to feedback, study any issues that arise, and use what we learn to improve our products and processes. Every completed order becomes part of our experience and helps us manufacture the next one better.

From the first specification to the final shipment, every stage is connected. By managing quality throughout the entire process, we work to deliver lighting products that reflect the care, knowledge, and responsibility of the people behind them.
